Obviously boys don't usually find those magazines interesting. Instead they buy magazines about music or web magazines about sport. Teenage magazines are meant for teenagers, so they use a language that only teenagers use. It makes the magazines more attractive to teenagers and easier for them to understand. On another note, a lot of these magazines help young people find solutions to problems they don't feel like asking other people. Thats one of the reasons why the problem pages are popular.
