Albert Einstein was a great theoretical physicist and Nobel prize winner. He was born in the small German town of Ulm on 14th March, 1879 year. He was one of the most famous physicists not only of the 20th century, but of all time. Einstein received his primary education at the catholic elementary school in Munich. Later, he transferred to Gymnasium. But Albert was not one of the best students there. He didn't like the school system and often argued with the teachers. At the age of 16, he tried to pass the exams at the Zurich Polytechnic School (in Switzerland). Einstein wrote excellent mathematics, but the French language and botany was failed. Then he studied for some time at school in Aarau, and only then he was able to study at the Zurich Polytechnic School. When Einstein was a student at the Polytechnic School, he had good teachers and fellow students. At the age of 22, he graduated as a physics teacher. And for a long time he couldn't find a job, but then he got a job in the patent office. He soon began writing scientific articles and collaborating with physical journals. Einstein laid the foundation of Quantum theory, created the Special theory of relativity in 1905, and the General theory of Relativity appeared 10 years later. His work changed all ideas in the scientific world and caused a revolution in physics. However, few people could understand his articles. In 1922 he received the Nobel prize. In 1933 Einstein permanently emigrated to America and became a Professor of Physics at Princeton University.
