People play the dombra and sign songs or poems from the past. 2 Yes they do. Young people have dombra parties in streets and parks in many cities in Kazakhstan. Now, there are even dombra parties in Europe. Some young Kazakhs train to become akyns. Akyns are very good folk singer and poets. There are some famous akyns in Kazakhstan today. Of course, professional akyns practice every day. 3 They are sometimes stories about family and animals, the land and mountains . Sometimes they are some ideas and feelings.
