I think that it this statement is true, because there are so many streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Apple TV etc. There is just no need to go out and watch a movie anymore, because you can find all of them on the internet at home. People choose to stay home, as it is much cheaper (they don’t have to pay for tickets and overpriced snacks), you can pause it any time and you have a comfortable coach to lay on.
However, I do believe that cinemas will still be around, because many people find it more entertaining and fun to watch their favourite movies on a bigger screen
