My father taught me to swim when I was five. It was in the summer when we went to the seaside on holiday. Since that time my favourite summer pastime has been swimming in our river or the local swimming pool. In fact I usually go to the swimming pool three times a week and these days are the best for me. I have already taken part in a few school swimming competitions and I can say I like races, especially when I win them.
