Hi Kathy. I'm writing to let you know that I won't be able to come to the swim tomorrow. I broke my arm.
It all happened so fast. I was riding my bike and a dog ran in front of me and I had to brake hard. I fell off my bike and it fell on my arm. It really hurt me. I went with my parents to the hospital, where it turned out that my arm was broken. I never want to ride a bike again because of that.
I was told that my recovery would take several months. Until then, I won't be able to go swimming with you. I'm sorry about that. You can find someone so you don't get bored alone when you go swimming.

Hey, It's me Martha, the reason why I'm writing to you is because I won't be able to go swimming with you. Yesterday I was playing tag with my friends and while I was running away, I fell and broke my leg. I got out of the hospital a couple hours ago. The docter said it's only a broken foot and it should heal in about a month. So now I would have to wear a cast. Because of my broken foot and my cast I won't be able to got swimming with you. I'm very sorry that I can't go swimming with you Cathy, I hope you understand. Hope to seeing you soon!
