Clara: Oh, hi! I’m afraid I can’t.

Jim: Why? We could go to our secret place. It’s so nice there now!

Clara:  Well, the thing is  I have loads of housework and my homework isn’t done yet. But that’s fine. I mean I won’t get offended if you go there on your own.

Jim: It won’t be the same without you. You know what?

Clara: What?

Jim: Let’s do it this way. I give you a hand with your work and then we go on a walk together.

Clara: That’s so nice of you. I thought you’d just leave me with problems.

Jim: Come on, I am your friend, I’d never do that. Now hurry up we have to get done with you chores!
