Help the Homeless

Hi everyone!
Thanks for all your comments on my last post. Well, guess what? I've signed up that new volunteer programme! It is proceed 3 weeks.
The aim of the project is to help people, who lost their homes. During the first week we will work at the shelter. We will do some basic staff, like cooking and serving food. I'm going to ask my mom if she can teach me how to cook interesting but simple dishes. Because during this week I want to give those people as many good memories as possible, and what could be nicer than delicious food?
In a second week we will spend some time on streets and will help thode in need. Personaly for me, I think it is going to be interesting. I mean have ever thought about how do that homeless people live. I think it is kind of scary, live on a street. It is cold, especially in winter.
In my opinion the third week will be the most exiting! We are going to help build new houses for the homeless. I am always wanted to try be an architector or thomething like that, and it will be a great opportunity!
I am really exited about this big project! I feel like I am going to do something good for people. Have you ever done things like that before? If yes write a comment about your expirience, I will read it all. But if your answer is no, anyway write a comment if you want to join some programme, what kind of programme it can be and why.
