I have been in England for five days now. I have visited a lot of interesting places. Yesterday we went to Bristol. It is a very big industrial city in the southwest of the country. The city is also an important part because Bristol is situated near in the estuary of the river Severn. Bristol is known as a commercial port in the 10th century and in the 14th century clothmaking industry was developing here. Nowadays the city produces aircrafts and footwear. During my trip around Bristol I was admiring its beautiful churched and cathedrals. The Church of Saint Mary Redcliffe has especially impressed me. It was built in the 14th century and is a fine example of English Gothic style. We also have visited the Theatre Royal, the City Museum and Art Gallery and the Bristol Zoo. I have taken a lot of photos. Tomorrow we are going to Cambridge. I'm hoping to learn more of the history of the famous Cambridge University. I'm arriving home next Sunday.
