My favourite athlete is Elina Svitolina. She is a Ukrainian professional tennis player. Elina was born into the family of Elena and Mykhailo Svitolin. She has an older brother Julian. The Ukrainian has been playing tennis since the age of five. In 2010 Svitolina managed to win the French Open in the junior phase of her career. In the autumn of 2021 Svitolina reached the quarterfinals of the tournament in Chicago. And in 2022 in the WTA ranking Elina Svitolina ranked 37th and lost the title of the first racket of Ukraine. On 16 July 2021 the Ukrainian athlete married famous French tennis player Gaël Monfils, with whom she had been dating since 2019, and in October 2022 the couple had a daughter.
