Partner B: We often have floods in the spring when the snow melts in the mountains, and droughts are common during the summer months.

Partner A: I see. How do people waste water or electricity in your country?

Partner B: People in my country often waste water by leaving the tap running while washing dishes or brushing their teeth. Electricity is often wasted by leaving lights on in empty rooms or using appliances that aren't energy efficient.

Partner A: That's not good. What do you do to save water or electricity?

Partner B: To save water, I try to take shorter showers and turn off the tap while I'm washing my face or brushing my teeth. I also make sure to turn off lights and unplug appliances when they're not in use.

Partner A: Good ideas. What products or materials do you recycle?

Partner B: In my city, we have recycling bins for plastic, glass, and paper, so I make sure to separate these materials and put them in the appropriate bin. I also try to buy products that are made from recycled materials whenever possible.
