I am writing to apply for the position of a volunteer with Operation Water. Having read your advert, I am convinced that I possess the qualities and skills required for the job and I believe I can make a meaningful contribution to your efforts.

As a socially responsible individual, I am passionate about helping disadvantaged communities, particularly in the areas of health and sanitation. I possess excellent teamwork skills, which I believe will be essential in working alongside other volunteers to provide clean water to poor communities in south-east Asia and South America.
