I went to the theater with my friends last week. We chose a contemporary drama that was presented on stage. I was impressed by the performance of the actors - they managed to convey the depth of the characters' experiences and transport the audience to another reality. There were moments when we laughed and moments when we cried. During the intermission, we went to the lobby and got some refreshments. We talked about our favorite parts of the play and speculated on how it would end. The second half of the play was just as great as the first, and we gave the actors a standing ovation at the end. It was a wonderful night at the theater that we'll always remember.
