After a few minutes, the boys found a spot to sit down. They were all very tired from walking.
"What should we do now?" Tom asked.
"I don't know," Harry said. "Let's just sit here for a while."
The boys sat in silence for a few minutes. Then, they heard a noise in the distance.
"What is that?" Harry asked.
The boys listened carefully and then they heard it again. It was a noise like someone was crying.
"I think someone is crying," Tom said.
The boys got up and started walking towards the noise. They soon came to a small park. In the park, they saw a girl sitting on a bench. She was crying.
The boys walked over to the bench.
"What's wrong?" Harry asked.
The girl looked up. She had tears in her eyes.
"My mommy died," she said.
The boys were surprised. They didn't know what to say.
Finally, Tom spoke up.
"I'm sorry to hear that," he said. "Is there anything we can do to help you?"
The girl shook her head.
"No, I don't think so," she said.
The boys stood there for a few minutes, not sure what to do. Then, Harry had an idea.
"Why don't you come with us?" he asked. "We're going to the movies. You can come with us."
The girl looked at the boys, surprised.
"Really?" she asked.
"Sure," Harry said. "We'd love to have you."
The girl smiled and nodded.
"Thank you," she said. "I would love to go to the movies."
