I had a terrifying experience while I was visiting my aunt in Australia. I was having a wonderful holiday, that is, until the day the fire started. We were sitting in front of the TV when a news flash suddenly interrupted the programme we were watching. It said that a fire was burning in the forest nearby. It was spreading quickly towards our town. The police advised residents to evacuate their houses. We grabbed everything we could carry and ran for the car. We escaped just in time. The fire destroyed my aunt's house and I spent the rest of my holiday in a shelter!
