Even if eight million people suddenly flew from London to New York, imagine how much CO2 would be produced. Unless everybody in the world stops using fossil fuels right now (an extremely unlikely event!), the planet will still continue to warm up. Global warming is irreversible. That, however, doesn't mean we should do nothing.
