Its name was 'Roots and Shools' and the members organised special programmes and cleaned up local parks. rivers and beaches. Today, 'Roots and Shoots' has over 3,000 groups in B12. protecting the BI3. more than 68 countries worldwide which are involved in Dr Jane Goodall's projects. Any young person can join the Roots and Shoots' programme.
