Yesterday was my first day at the new school. I was a little bit scared because I didn't have any friends there. I left the house at half past six, and I could see other pupils in front of me. It looked like they already knew each other because they laughed and had a lot of fun. One boy wore a green jacket and a yellow cap. His friend slowly rode his bike next to him so that they could talk to each other. The boy with the jacket told his friend a joke, and he laughed so hard that he nearly fell off his bike. I found this very funny, so I had to laugh as well. The two boys heard me laughing. They stopped and turned around. One of them ran to me and asked me if I wanted to walk to school with them. I didn't know what to say at first, but then I agreed happily: I was so glad that I had friends at my new school.
