The Brainiest was a quiz show for bright children. Children in grades 6 to 11 at school competed against each other in different categories for the title The Brainiest Kid'. The show started in the UK and, like a lot of shows, the idea spread abroad. In Ukraine, hundreds of brainy children participated in the show. Each year, there were six programmes in the first round with twelve participants in each. Friends and families supported them on their way to success and parents even took part in some programmes. The participants chose questions from a wide range of categories, including art, literature, cinema, linguistics, music, sports, history, geography and nature.
