Hi Maxim,
I'm writing to invite you to go to the cinema this evening. This week the second part of Avatar is shown in all cinemas of our city. The first part of the film was unforgettable with all those spectacular computer modified effects, do you remember it? So why don't we go and see it?! The film starts at 18.00 and ends at 20.00, so when the movie is over we could also go to that quiet cafe on the corner of Chaikovskogo street, they have your favourite strawberry cakes with 50% off on Fridays.
I think it would be a good idea to take a taxi to get to the cinema in time, as there is a heavy traffic on the roads in that particular hour and the buses are so unreliable! And what do you think about calling Sophia and asking her to go out with us? We haven't seen each other for a long time, so how about getting together and having fun this evening?
I'm sure you'll like my idea. Please, don't say no, today is Friday so we can sleep in on Saturday and we don't have much homework to do by Monday.
