I understand perfectly well that learning English at the University, especially legal English, is a good chance (opportunity) for me to improve my language skills, first of all those of spoken English which are in constant need of brushing up.
At the English lessons we work with newspaper articles, watch films, analyze stories, listen to audio cassette tapings, read documentaries on British and American life and history, do vocabulary and grammar tests.
Not long ago we began to master legal English which enables us to read foreign literature on specialty (on law).
Learn the language by ear. Listen to records. Turn on radio and listen.
Do speak up. He, who keeps thoughts to himself, may well be blessed but you will do better if you don’t go by this principle when speaking a foreign language.
Don’t worry too much about mistakes. You will make them anyway - there is no getting away from it. It is far worse when something goes unsaid.
Remember that learning a language is a never-ending process.

1. Я розумію дуже добре, що вивчення англійської мови в університеті, особливо юридичної англійської, - це для мене чудова можливість покращити мої мовні навички, перш за все, навички усного мовлення, які постійно потребують підтримки.
2. На англійських уроках ми працюємо з газетними статтями, дивимося фільми, аналізуємо оповіді, слухаємо аудіозаписи, читаємо документальні матеріали про життя і історію Британії та Америки, робимо словникові і граматичні тести.
3. Недавно ми почали вивчати юридичну англійську, що дозволяє нам читати зарубіжну літературу зі спеціальності (правознавство).
4. Вивчайте мову на слух. Слухайте записи. Увімкніть радіо та слухайте.
5. Говоріть голосно. Той, хто тримає свої думки при собі, може бути благословенним, але ви зробите краще, якщо не будете керуватися цим принципом, говорячи іноземною мовою.
