4. 1) My favorite device is my phone. i use it to play games, to research stuff for school and to watch entertaining videos. I like it a lot because it can help me with homework and it helps to pass my time.

2)Before email existed people used to send telegrams. After writing it on a paper they folded it and put it into an envelope and sent it through the post office. It wasn't  too difficult except it took a while to arrive to the person they sent it too.
