What an amazing holiday! We've been on the road in our camper yan for ten days, and since we left w we've driven over 100 km, so we've already done half the trip! I had an extra waffle for breakfast to celebrate! Definitely my favourite placefup to now has been Hefst Castle - what incredible buildings! Today was another fantastic drive up the coast from Sam (where we stayed the night) to San Francisco I've seen lots of pictures of the Golden Gate Bridge so I was very excited but... we didn't cross it!!Mum says it's on the other side of San Francisco so I haven't seen it yet. What a big disappointment! Bye till tomorrow.

I treated myself to an extra serving of waffles for breakfast to mark the occasion! By far, my favorite stop so far has been at the Bayanaul Mountains - what an awe-inspiring sight! Today, we had another amazing drive along the countryside from Almaty (where we spent the night) to Nur-Sultan. I've seen so many photos of the beautiful Altyn Emel National Park, so I was thrilled, but... we missed it somehow! My friend said it's on the other side of Nur-Sultan, so I haven't had the chance to explore it yet. Such a bummer! See you tomorrow."
