SUPERMAN RETURNS is a fantastic, adventure film with plenty of action and special effects. Brandon Routh plays the role of Clark Kent/Superman and the film also stars Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane. The story begins with Superman returning to earth, after a five-year trip back into space to visit his home planet. On his arrival, however, he finds that the citizens of Metropolis are no longer interested in Superman and have forgotten the hero. He also finds out that the woman he cares about, Lois Lane, has moved on with her life and that his old enemy Lex Luther is plotting to take over the world. Once more Superman finds himself in a race against time to save earth and to stop a madman from destroying them all. This is a film well worth seeing. Its brilliant computer effects and Superman's brave rescues are only some of the attractions of the film. Those who have become superhero fans will be pleasantly surprised by Superman's romantic and sensitive personality.
