p Dear Granddad, I'm writing to thank you for your advice about my new school. I felt really lost at first! The work here is harder and the teachers seemed really strict. I found some subjects very confusing, but you were right, I just needed to explain that to the teachers. They realised I was determined to get better and since then they've been helping me a lot. Luckily, I'm hard-working! Making friends wasn't easy. You know how shy I am, and as it's Year 3 they all knew each other already. I found it difficult tөo join in. Your suggestion about playing sports was really good advice! I joined the volleyball team and I'm making friends a lot more quickly now. My team mates have been showing me the town, and I'm feeling really happy now! So thanks again. I don't know what I'd do without you!
