The Eiffel Tower was designed by Gustve Eiffel. It was buit between 1887 and 1889 by workers. Iron was used to built it. It was opened to the public on May 6th in 1889 by the City Mayor. The tower is visited by many tourists every year. Souvenirs are bought, photos of Paris are taken, the view of the top is admired by them.
