When at last Browns gets to the lake it rains heavily. 7. The weather forecast said it would be raining today but look, the sun is shining. 8. Yesterday we decided to go to the beach where we were swimming and lying in the sun.

7. The weather forecast (says) it (is raining) today but look, the sun (is shining).

посмотри а это как с ошибками?
в 7ом предложение можно сделать и в настоящем времени, но прогноз погоды обычно сообщают заранее))
в 8ом предложении два варианта: 1) where we were swimming - подчеркивает то, что купались какое то длительное время 2) we swam - указывает лишь на факт того, что искупались и полежали на солнце, без уточнения обстоятельств длительности
вариант When at last the Browns got to the lake, it was raining heavily - тоже корректный, только в прошедшем времени. Также можно это предложение написать в будущем времени, но тогда оно будет условным: when at last the Browns gets to the lake it will rain heavily
