The UK consists of 4 administrative and political divisions (historical provinces) : 

England (39 counties, 6 Metropolitan counties and greater London) - ADM. centre London 
Wales (22 unitary education: 9 counties, 3 cities and 10 towns counties) - ADM. centre Cardiff 
Scotland (12 provinces: 9 districts and 3 main area) - ADM. centre Edinburgh 
Northern Ireland (26 counties) - ADM. centre Belfast
