6. Legislative power is vested in the Federal Assembly consisting of two chambers.
7. In the Russian Parliament there are such parties as the Unity, the Communist party, Fatherland of Russia, Yabloko, SPS and LDPR.
8. The legislature and the judiciary are not directly accountable to the President.
