The main character of the novel, Eugene Onegin, is a nobleman who has just taken over his uncle's estate.  The novel tells us about complicated relationships between Onegin and Tatiana Larina. Despite the fact that finally they love each other, they can't be together. And the reason of this situation is their own mistakes, and their inability to find the right way of life.
