Today, more than 40% of all living species on Earth are endangered. If this rate of extinction continues or accelerates, the number of endangered species in the next decades will be in the millions. Of course, this is a reason to think about every inhabitant of the planet, because the disappearance of certain species inevitably leads to global environmental problems, threatening the stability of the entire ecosystem of the Earth.
About 30 years ago, 17 of the last red wolves were brought together in an attempt to restore their population. They managed to increase their number to almost a hundred, but American forests, where the wolves were released, are being cut down, and the poor are still threatened with extinction.
