I am actually a simple guy, so it doesn’t take much for me to feel happy or excited whenever I do little things like reading a storybook or just eating some nice meal at a good restaurant. But, today, I would like to talk about a thing which, I believe, makes me a bit happier than anything else.
The thing, I am talking about, is travelling. Yes, I just love travelling. In fact, I just wish that I had a lot of money and spare time so that I could travel all of my life. But, unfortunately, I have to work to earn my living and I am not a very rich person. So, that means I have to plan well in advance in order to save up some money for doing some travelling.
Of course, it is not that I want to travel to every place that I learn about after reading about them in some books or by watching different kinds of travel-related programmes on TV, but rather I like to travel to only those places that are absolutely unique and different from other places. Interestingly, sometimes the anticipation of travelling to a new place makes me happier and more excited rather than actually visiting the place, probably because once I visit that place, the excitement fades away to some extent. But, still, I like to travel as often as I can, especially, when I get the yearly vacation from my work. So, I guess that visiting more than once a year is something I can hardly afford.
Anyway, travelling makes me happy, mainly because it allows me to become familiar with the different kinds of cultures and lifestyles of different kinds of people. Besides, it also allows me to develop an appreciation for people, who are different from me. Finally, it makes me happy and excited because travelling allows me to extend my hands of friendship to other people who I have never met before. After all, who don’t like to make new friends and learn about new things?

Playing computer games, especially strategy games, makes me excited and happy to a great extent. This might sound a bit odd, but I often find a great deal of excitement playing computer games with my friends over the computer network though we are all adults now. It helps me enjoy a fresh round of game while also enjoying the company of my dear friends.
A gamer knows how enjoyable a game can be when they are into any good game. Strategy games are even more fun since they are designed to be played with others or against computers, and involve many strategic plannings and tactics. If the gamer is a little more curious than just enjoying the game, he or she can learn a great deal of information from such a game. I always believe that playing computer games for a long hour is harmful, but they can be beneficial and even a good source of learning if they are played sensibly.
These days, I hardly play computer games basically because I am so busy with my work. But in my college years, I often played computer games with my friends in our free time. On some rare occasions, these days, we plan to enjoy a computer game, and interestingly, it is still very exciting. It is, as if, we are still some young lads playing video games in our college dormitory!
