Tina's mum handed her a big bag from a department store. Inside the bag was a brand new, bright pink winter coat. Tina gasped in delight as she pulled it out of the bag and ran her fingers over the soft, fuzzy material. She couldn't believe that her mum had bought her such an expensive coat!

Tina had been eyeing the coat for weeks in the store window every time she walked past with her mum. She'd wanted it so badly but knew that it was too expensive for them to buy. But now here it was, right in front of her! She thanked her mum profusely and hugged her tightly before running off to show all of her friends at school.

The next day at school, Tina proudly showed off her new coat to everyone who would look at it, including Ms. Brown, their teacher. Ms. Brown admired the coat and asked where Tina got it from; when Tina told Ms. Brown that it had been a gift from her mum, Ms Brown smiled knowingly and said "Your mother must really love you."

This made Tina feel warm inside; she knew that even though money was tight for them at times, there were still things that were important enough for them to buy together - like this beautiful winter coat! That night when she got home from school, she thanked her mum again for the wonderful gift and gave another tight hug before going up to bed with a smile on face knowing how much love there was between them both despite their financial struggles.

From then on whenever anyone asked about where she got such an amazing winter coat from - which happened quite often - Tina would always proudly say "My Mum".
