1. I went to Sauran with my family last weekend. It's a beautiful ruined city. The Arabs built it hundreds of years ago. We spent the whole morning there. We walked around the city and spoke to some archaeologists who knew lots of things about the city. They told us that in the 14th century, it was the capital of the White Horde.
2. At lunchtime, we ate a picnic outside in the sunshine. It was very quiet and peaceful. There weren't many people in Sauran, but we saw eagles, horses, lizards, and cute tortoises exploring the ancient city.
