Hi Toby,

It's great to hear that you're joining the basketball club next week. I've got some tips for you on how to survive your first week there.

First of all, it's really important to have the right equipment. Make sure you don't forget your trainers, and check that they're comfortable to wear. Also, arrive early on the first day so you have time to settle in.

It's a good idea to chat to the other people in the club. If you talk to them, they'll think you're friendly. Learn everybody's name too, so you can greet them personally.

If you need any help, speak to the club organizer. I'm sure he'll help you if you've got any problems.
