3.Elevators changed our lifes a lot, because due to them we now can get to very high floors of skyscrapers without losing too much energy.
4.Because the skyscrapers need more energy than usual buildings, also it consists many people in it, and we know that population is higher in cities.
5.People saw them and maybe said "it is scraping the sky" with a joke, because they are very tall and high.
