In Ukraine, surfing is possible in the Black Sea near the city of Odessa or in Crimea.
Special clothing for surfing includes a wetsuit and a rash guard to protect the skin from the sun and the board. Surfing also requires a leash to attach the board to the surfer's ankle.
Surfing can be both a competitive and recreational activity. There are many surfing competitions around the world, including the Olympics, but many people also enjoy surfing as a hobby.
