Present simple - время, когда действие регулярно повторяется. Можно не менять глагол, а оставить его таким какой он есть. Например i eat apples every day

Present continous - когда действие происходит прямо сейчас, в этот момент. Например, I'm trying to finish my homework. В конце глагола добавляешь окончание "ING" и не забываешь про "to be" перед глаголом
