Hello everyone and welcome to our blog about volunteering! Today I'm going to tell you my experience of the 8-week volunteering programme and what I did there.

Week 1: The first week was spent on training. I was studying the flora and fauna of Fraser Island, which is located in Australia. Also, I got down to receiving useful knowledge on how to manage with my duties. That was exciting!

Week 2-4: I learnt what I had to learn and then started off immediately. The following weeks were spent mostly on collecting some surveys and data collection from the local people.

Week 5-8: Finally, the last weeks of my mission. It was a little pity for me to leave such a place as Fraser island. I was helping in hiking trails across the island, I guess I managed with it.
